YABSS (formerly known as FABSS through Findlay City Schools) is a crucial program that provides before- and after-school childcare for children in kindergarten through 5th grade. The program's transfer from the school district to the Findlay Family YMCA demonstrates a commitment to continued support for working families in the community. The Findlay Family YMCA recognizes the importance of bridging the gap left by the loss of FABSS and is dedicated to ensuring that children have a safe and nurturing environment to learn and grow. 

YABSS is located at Chamberlin Hill and Wilson Vance intermediate schools. Findlay City Schools is continuing to provide busing to the corresponding primary schools, including from Chamberlin Hill to Jefferson, and Wilson Vance to Whittier. Findlay City Schools also provides busing from the Downtown Branch YMCA to Whittier and Wilson Vance schools throughout the school year.

School Day Out Camps are included in the cost of YABSS participants who are enrolled in Before and After School care. YABSS families will have first priority for School Day Out Camps.

Please use the links below to access your school's registration packet. Registration packets must be PRINTED and turned in to the YMCA Child Development Center located at 231 E. Lincoln St. between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. If you do not have access to a printer, packets will be available at the YMCA Child Development Center.
