Open Doors Scholarship Program
In an effort to create a Y for ALL, the Findlay YMCA provides scholarship assistance for membership through our Open Doors program. Generous contributions made to our Annual Campaign from community members and local businesses help us provide financial assistance to those who financially qualify. Through membership, Open Doors recipients also have access to free and reduced-fee programming and childcare.
Applicants who are applying for help with childcare fees MUST show that they have first submitted an application to the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services before submitting an application to the YMCA. To properly administer these funds, the Findlay Family YMCA requires all participants to fill out the application completely and provide all necessary documentation requested. All information is confidential.
A new application and updated information will be required annually.

Foster Families, Kinship, and Bridges
Ohio YMCAs and the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services provide memberships to foster families, kinship caregivers, and Bridges program participants. All Ohio certified foster homes, approved kinship caregivers, and Bridges participants are eligible for a 12-month family or individual YMCA facility membership.
