Homeschool Gym: Ages 6-12
Homeschool Gym is designed to help homeschool kids play, grow, and build lifelong healthy habits. This physical education program includes a variety of activities like team sports and fitness challenges. Students also get the opportunity to socialize with other kids their own age, which develops teamwork and leadership skills.
Burn & Build: Boys ages 10-13 & 14-17
Get ready to challenge yourself in this dynamic fitness class designed specifically for young boys. We will complete a high energy workout combining strength training and cardio exercises. Using battling ropes, boxing equipment and weights. The class focuses on building muscle, increasing endurance and burning calories.
Teen Fitness Orientation, Ages 12-15
This free program for members only is the mandatory training program for all youth members to use the Wellness facilities. Participants learn gym etiquette and how to use the equipment in the Wellness area. Contact Andrea Sertell to schedule. Orientation is at the Downtown Branch's Wellness Center.
Speed & Agility: Ages 9-13
Want to increase your performance level in the areas of speed, agility, quickness, and/or conditioning? No matter the sport, our training program is equipped with knowledgeable, skilled, and seasoned trainers to take you to that next level of performance. This program focuses on the participants’ speed and agility as well as every aspect of physical performance and will incorporate the essentials of speed training.
Kids Cycle & Core
This class offers a multi-level, 30-minute cardiovascular workout on the stationary bike followed by a 15-minute core workout for kids of all fitness levels. Proper body alignment and techniques are reviewed.
Teen TRX: Ages 14-18
This class allows you to simultaneously develop strength, balance, flexibility and core stability so you can get a total body workout in a fraction of the time of traditional strength training methods.
