What are Discovery Center & YPAC?
The Discovery Center is our two-hour, in-house childcare service available for children ages 6 weeks - 6 years during the time you use the YMCA. No feeding or diapering. The Discovery Center is available at both the Downtown and East branches.
The YPAC is our two-hour, in-house childcare service at the Downtown Branch for children ages 7 years - 13 years during the time you use the YMCA. Kids have access to a rock wall, interactive games, and appropriate exercise equipment.
Hours
Discovery Center, Downtown Branch:
Monday – Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Monday – Thursday: 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Discover Center, East Branch:
Mondays and Wednesdays: 5 - 7:15 p.m.
Tuesdays and Thursdays: 8:45 – 11 a.m.
Fridays: 8:45 – 11:30 a.m.
YPAC:
Monday – Thursday: 4:30 – 7 p.m.
Saturday: 8:30 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.
Monday - Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 12:15 p.m. (summer only)
Pricing
Findlay Family YMCA Adult Membership Holders: $6/child/2-hour visit
Findlay Family YMCA Family Membership Holders*: FREE/child/2-hour visit
Findlay Family YMCA Nonmembers: $10/child/2-hour visit
*For children covered under parent's Family Membership.
**Parent/Guardian must remain in the Y at all times when child is in the Discovery Center.
