Riverside Pool is operated by the Findlay Family YMCA, in partnership with the City of Findlay, from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

M-F: 1-7 PM
Sat & Sun: 12-6 PM
Hours are subject to change based on the weather. If the temperature is 68 degrees or below, Riverside will close for the day. If storms occur prior to opening, the pool will open 30 minutes after all storm activity stops. With storms occurring after 4 pm, the pool will close for the evening. No rainchecks or refunds will be offered for weather related activity. Each season, the pool occasionally closes early for days at a time to accommodate swim meets and other events.

Affordable day passes and season passes are available. In 2023, 2024, and 2025, some free admission days were offered thanks to the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation's Fun for All program.

Staff
The YMCA aquatics team is trained and poised to deliver a great pool experience for all under the leadership of Sr. Program Director Jerry McNamee. All pool attendees are required to treat staff with courtesy and respect as they work to keep you safe and to serve you in other operational ways.
Rules
Main Pool (50 meter):
- No one under the age of 13 is allowed to enter the facility without an adult 18 years of age or older.
- Lap lanes are for those swimming laps ONLY. Lap swimmers are to swim in the lanes marked for Lap Swim Only. The adult area by the lap lanes are for 18+ only.
- No horseplay which includes: Pushing, dunking, wrestling, excessive splashing.
- No hanging or playing on the ropes.
- ONLY FORWARD JUMPING from the side of the pool! No running and jumping, no jumping backwards, no twists, NO FRONT/BACK flips!
- No running.
- No eating or drinking in the pool.
- No throwing the ball across the pool area.
- NO CHICKEN (people on other people’s shoulders).
- No playing on ladders.
- No rafts.
- Anyone under the age of 18 must to be behind the yellow line and not at the edge of the pool during breaks.
- Adults 18 and over may swim during Safety Breaks.
- Children/adults are NOT to climb on the lifeguard chairs.
Diving Well:
- Children ages 13 and under must take a swim test before jumping off the diving boards. Swim test may only be given at break time. To pass a swim test, the swimmer must jump off the side, swim the width of the pool, and tread water for a minute.
- One person on the diving board ladder at a time. When waiting for the diving board, you must wait on the ground.
- One BOUNCE.
- No running on boards.
- Jump straight forward from the boards, not to the side.
- No floatation devices on boards (including arm, back floats and lifejackets).
- No INWARD dives! (diving towards the board)
- No sailor dives (no hands).
- Must swim to the ladders, NOT the end of the pool.
- No swimmers during break times.
- The only people in the pool should be people diving.
- No chicken.
- No cowboy.
- NO GOGGLES.
Baby Pool (with slide):
- No playing on the ladders.
- ONLY FORWARD JUMPING! No running and jumping, no jumping backwards, no twists, NO FRONT/BACK flips!
- No running.
- No eating or drinking in the pool.
- No throwing the ball across the pool area.
- Only children who can’t walk can be in during breaks!
- Children need to be sitting on the outside of the yellow line and not at the edge of the pool during breaks. Infants who cannot walk are permitted in the pool during rest breaks WITH AN ADULT.
- Slide: Go down the slide feet first.
- Slide: Children going down slide must meet height requirements. Please see measurements next to the slides.
- Slide: Goggles are not permitted on the slides.
- Slide: No parents in the pool catching kids.
- Slide: Limited number of children on the ladder.
- Slide: No swimming in the slide area.
