Water fitness classes and lap swimming at the Findlay Family YMCA offer great ways to gain muscle conditioning and strength and increase cardiovascular endurance without putting stress on the joints. Classes are offered throughout the year at our Downtown Branch East and West pools and during the summer outdoors at Riverside Pool.

A cardio workout in shallow water. Class incorporates cardiovascular fitness, endurance, and muscle-toning. Great cross-training for land-based exercises.

Lap Swimming
Lap swimming can be a great way to improve flexibility, endurance, and help lower blood pressure as well as stress.
