In 2010, the YMCA provided over $261,000 in charitable services. Over 45,000 people were able to participate in YMCA programs because of the generous support of our annual investors.
FEED-A-CHILD
One of the programs that benefits from the “Y” Strong Annual Giving Campaign is Feed-A-Child. 17,952 meals were provided to 189 children living in homes where food is scarce and hunger is something they learn to live with daily.*$25 can provide food on the weekends for a child for an entire month*$100 helps to provide the transportation necessary to move food supplies from Lima to our neighborhood schools weekly*$145 feeds a child for an entire school year
HEALTHY LIVING
YMCA MEMBERSHIP - ACCESS FOR ALL
The YMCA provides kids a safe place to be every day of the year, a place where they can swim, play, and experience the fun and excitement of challenging youth sports activities without the pressure that can be part of competitive sports.*$100 will sponsor a child’s YMCA membership for an entire year
DIABETES PREVENTION AND MAINTENANCE
The Y is committed to being a leader for diabetes education and prevention in Hancock County. To date, over 100 people have participated in a free 10 week diabetes education course to help ensure a healthier life-style.*80% of participants have reported weight loss and a decrease in A1C levels
YOUTH DEVELOPMENT
With the steady rise in drug and alcohol abuse, the YMCA continues to provide opportunities for recreation and challenge for youth of all ages so that their leisure time can be spent in a safe and enriching environment.
MARY BRENNER CHILD DEVELOPMENT CENTER
$156,000 was provided in scholarship assistance in 2010 to care for children in poverty stricken families in Hancock County. Children in 35 families living at or below the poverty level were provided daily care while their parents continued to work during difficult economic times. *$25 provides educational toys and games for toddlers
*$100 helps to provide healthy snacks to children of families that struggle
RIVERSIDE COMMUNITY POOL
Thousands of kids and their families made over 40,000 visits to swim at our Riverside Community Pool last year. With your support, the YMCA can continue to operate this beautiful Findlay asset and make it affordable and safe for all our kids and families each and every summer. *$50 provides a youth the opportunity to swim all year long
CAMP MOSSHART
A primitive camp experience where youth spend their summers growing physically, mentally and socially in the outdoors; swimming, boating, hiking and climbing. *$75 provides a youth with a summer camp experience they’ll remember for a lifetime

The Impact of Your Leadership Gift
As a member of the Chair’s Roundtable you provide leadership each year at the highest level to ensure the YMCA can fulfill its mission to keep the doors open to everyone regardless of their financial situation.
Recognition
The YMCA values the generous support of its Chair’s Roundtable leadership investors. There are specific sponsorship and program naming opportunities that investors may choose if they wish.
Platinum $10,000 Gold $ 5,000
Silver $ 2,500 Chair $ 1,000
Customized Banners will be placed around the YMCA for all gifts of $1,000 and above.
Investors giving $200 or more will be recognized with a plaque, designed very similar to the banner.
